It’s pronounced like “body” since the lighthouses were constructed to help mariners navigate through the “Graveyard of the Atlantic.” Outer Banks lighthouses are spaced every 40 miles, so mariners have continuous views of the beacons up the narrow strip of coastline.
There are many places to go on the quaint Main Street of Park City. You can shop, see beautiful works of art and photography, see shows, live music, buy skis and ski togs, and dine from the best steak to appetizing bar food. One of our favorite places is the No Name Saloon.
